What happens if my KNX integrator disappears?

A correctly designed KNX installation normally continues to run its local functions if the original integrator stops trading. Another KNX professional can then diagnose, maintain and extend the system.

A takeover is much easier with the ETS project file, passwords, plans and device list. Without an ETS backup, the bus can still be analysed and some information recovered, but complete reconstruction of the programming cannot be guaranteed.
